Primo Rocks requires camera access (or photo library access) to capture images of rocks, minerals, crystals, gems, or fossils you want to identify
Captured images are sent to Google Gemini AI for specimen identification and analysis
Small thumbnail images are stored locally on your device as part of your identification history
Images are not stored on our servers or transmitted to any party other than Google Gemini for processing

1.2 Identification and Valuation Data

Identification results, including the specimen name, category, properties, estimated value ranges, and confidence levels, are stored locally on your device
Associated metadata such as timestamps and specimen categories is stored alongside each identification
A limited number of identification records are retained on your device, with older records automatically removed

1.3 Market and Pricing Data

When you request a value estimate, the App queries third-party marketplace and web sources for comparable prices of the identified specimen
Only the specimen description derived from your image is used for these queries; your photos are never shared with marketplace or web search providers
Retrieved pricing data is used solely to generate your estimate and is not stored long-term on our servers

1.4 Preference Data

App preferences such as language settings are stored locally on your device
No personal profile data is collected or transmitted

1.5 Analytics

We collect anonymized usage data through Firebase Analytics, including screen views, feature usage events, and user properties
No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected during this process

1.6 Premium Features

For users who purchase premium features, we utilize RevenueCat for subscription management and payment processing
RevenueCat may collect data related to transactions as outlined in their Privacy Policy
Users are anonymous by default; no account registration is required

Specimen Identification: Camera images are processed by AI to identify the specimen and its key properties
Value Estimation: Identified specimen details are used to retrieve comparable market prices and generate an estimated value

Subscription Management: Premium transactions are processed through RevenueCat and the respective app stores

Access and Deletion: You can view and delete all your data through the App's settings. Uninstalling the App also removes all locally stored data from your device
Camera Permissions: You can revoke camera access at any time through your device's system settings
